recipe-grid-lint: Recipe linterΒΆ

The recipe-grid-lint command automatically checks recipes in Markdown files for common mistakes such as misspelling ingredient or sub recipe names defined earlier in a recipe.

Usage:

$ recipe-grid-lint FILENAME [...]

If any potential issues are found, a explanations will be printed to stdout and a non-zero exit status will be returned. Otherwise, no messages will be produced and the exit status will be 0.

Errors (e.g. syntax errors) are fatal and must be fixed before this recipe can be checked any further (or indeed processed by other Recipe Grid tools).

In unusual cases, warnings may be produced for recipes which are actually correct. If desired, you can suppress warnings of a specific kind using the --ignore or --i argument. Warning types are indicated in square brackets in warning messages. This argument may be used multiple times to ignore multiple kinds of warning.
